The Love Island Australia stars, who met on the show, announced that their romance was over in an Instagram post on Monday.
The 25-year-old brunette wrote at length: 'Lil reminder you can always choose yourself and happiness no matter what.

She went on: 'I don't know if this comes as a shock because I think we portrayed a happy healthy relationship. And it was that for most of the part, but there was also a lot of challenging moments we didn't share.
'No relationship is perfect but there are some parts you have to see eye-to-eye.'

Amelia concluded: 'Josh and I are on incredible terms (for a breakup) and we want the happiest life for one another.
'But sadly right now we have to find happiness separately. Of course I love Josh and will miss our crazy special life together but right now this is the best for us both.'
The announcement comes days after Josh was spotted at Australian Fashion Week in the company of a female friend.

A spokesperson for Jetstar told Daily Mail Australia on Sunday evening: 'While we do have basic dress requirements on our flights (ie. shoes), we do not have any policy regarding crop tops.
'We'll reach out to Amelia and our crew member to understand what's taken place, and we apologise if there's been any misunderstanding of our policy.
