Amelia Marni has split with her boyfriend of four years,Josh Moss.

The Love Island Australia stars, who met on the show, announced that their romance was over in an Instagram post on Monday.

The 25-year-old brunette wrote at length: 'Lil reminder you can always choose yourself and happiness no matter what.

'I felt it was necessary to share that Josh and I have decided to split. This was the most heartbreaking yet respectful breakup. After almost four years of being together we decided to go our separate ways.'

She went on: 'I don't know if this comes as a shock because I think we portrayed a happy healthy relationship. And it was that for most of the part, but there was also a lot of challenging moments we didn't share.

'No relationship is perfect but there are some parts you have to see eye-to-eye.'

Amelia concluded: 'Josh and I are on incredible terms (for a breakup) and we want the happiest life for one another.

'But sadly right now we have to find happiness separately. Of course I love Josh and will miss our crazy special life together but right now this is the best for us both.'

The announcement comes days after Josh was spotted at Australian Fashion Week in the company of a female friend.

He sat front row alongside the stunning brunette, the pair chatting up a storm as they enjoyed the Daniel Avakian show.

When arriving at the venue, he was seen with a different brunette friend wearing a pair of sunglasses.

Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting that Josh and the women are more than friends.

Ameliahas become a popular influencer with 341,000 followers on Instagram since starring on the 2018 season of Love Island.

She and Josh recently hinted at plans to get engaged during a romantic holiday.

Josh told The Daily Telegraphin February thatItalywould be the perfect location to propose to his long-term girlfriend.

'It might be a good spot to pop the question,' he said.

Amelia agreed, adding:'I would love an Italian engagement. That would be very romantic.'

Thecouple announced inJuly last year they hadmoved in together.

It comes afterAmelia accused Jetstar of 's**t shaming'In a series of Instagram Story posts on Sunday.

The influencer claimed a male flight attendant told her to 'cover up' and that her choice of clothing was 'too revealing'.

She shared a photo of her outfit for the flight, which consisted of a black crop top and khaki pants.

'We love a s**t shame moment. A male flight attendant just told me to cover up and my clothing was too revealing. I can't wear this and it's inappropriate to wear on Jetstar. NEVER heard of this,' Amelia wrote, adding that crop tops are her 'brand'.

Amelia went on to post a screenshot of dress requirements for Jetstar alongside the caption 'deadset confused'.

The dress requirements which can be found online state: 'You don't have to dress to impress when you fly with Jetstar, but there are minimum dress requirements. For your safety, all adults and children who are capable of walking must wear footwear (thongs are acceptable) during boarding and disembarking.'

Amelia followed with a screenshot of a section on Jetstar's website about 'offensive clothing'.

'Please refrain from wearing any clothing or carrying personal items that display words, images, symbols or slogans that may reasonably be deemed offensive.'

Amelia said it was 'literally the only thing' she could find online about offensive clothing, and joked that we 'love a man abusing his authority'.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Amelia and her representative for comment.

A spokesperson for Jetstar told Daily Mail Australia on Sunday evening: 'While we do have basic dress requirements on our flights (ie. shoes), we do not have any policy regarding crop tops.

'We'll reach out to Amelia and our crew member to understand what's taken place, and we apologise if there's been any misunderstanding of our policy.
